Lion A Long Way Home
by Saroo Brierley

A compelling story that takes the reader on a journey of a boy trying to reunite with his lost family in India. The book was enjoyable and I wanted to keep reading the book to see if Saroo could figure out a way to find his birth family.

Ponyella
by Laura Numeroff

This book is like Cinderella, but it is about a pony. This princess little girl has a contest and Ponyella was all dirty, but then the fairy horse changed her so she had white fur. Then Ponyella went to the contest and then had to hurry back home so she wouldn't turn back to what she was. One of her horseshoes fell off. Read the book to find out more.

Daisy Jones And The Six
by Taylor Jenkins Reid

An engaging book and a quick read about the rise and fall of a fictional 1970's band.

Ungrateful Refugee
by Dina Nayeri

Very eye-opening account of the refugee experience. The individual stories are compelling, but when the author diverts to analysis it becomes a bit preachy. Still a worthwhile read.
